BrushArt animals are hand made from the most super-abundant and self-regenerating of natural materials.  The leaves, leaf fibers, seeds, and seed pods from the Buri Sugar Palm, a native of the Phillipines, are all used. It is the long, thick leaf stems that provide the fiber from which the body of a BrushArt animal is made and held together with only wire and glue. .
